Dear Community,

As we move into the second half of the year, I continue to be inspired by the commitment of our partners, stakeholders, and community members who work every day to strengthen behavioral health across the Tampa Bay region. Together, we are building meaningful partnerships, expanding access to resources, and creating opportunities for individuals and families to thrive.

Last month, we had the privilege of hosting our inaugural Faith Leaders Gathering, and I want to extend my sincere gratitude to everyone who attended. Seeing faith leaders from across our region come together to learn, collaborate, and explore ways to support behavioral health and recovery was both inspiring and encouraging. Thank you to our keynote speakers, breakout facilitators, volunteers, sponsors, and community partners whose leadership made this sold-out event such a tremendous success.

This month, we invite you to continue learning with us during our upcoming webinar, Supporting Seniors: Findings from the LTB/USF Study, where researchers and community leaders will share new insights into the behavioral health needs of older adults and practical strategies for creating stronger systems of care. As Florida’s aging population continues to grow, collaborative, data-informed solutions will play an increasingly important role in improving health outcomes throughout our communities.

I also encourage you to read this month’s featured article on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and its role in supporting long-term recovery. Recovery is not defined by a single moment—it is built through the development of practical skills, strong support systems, and access to evidence-based care. By sharing research-backed information and promoting proven approaches like CBT, we hope to increase understanding and reduce stigma while empowering individuals and families on their recovery journeys.

Planning is also well underway for our annual Behavioral Health & Public Safety Summit, one of the region’s premier opportunities for cross-sector collaboration. Each year, this event brings together leaders from behavioral health, healthcare, public safety, government, and community organizations to address some of our most pressing challenges and identify innovative solutions. We invite organizations that share our commitment to healthier, safer communities to explore our sponsorship opportunities and join us in making this year’s summit our most impactful yet.

Thank you for your continued partnership and unwavering commitment to advancing behavioral health throughout our region. Every conversation, collaboration, and connection strengthens our collective impact. Together, we are creating healthier communities, expanding hope, and building stronger systems of care for everyone we serve.

Yours in service,

Jennifer Webb
