My interest in participating in the Leadership Coalition for Opioid Tampa Bay was multi-dimensional. As a mother of two grown children, I have seen addiction significantly destroy the lives of many youths over the years. As a wealth professional, I helped many families customize estate plans to protect their children from themselves, and avoid exhausting the family’s wealth intended for next generations. Finally, my husband is the Director of a large hospice foundation that also serves the military veterans in our community, many who suffer with PSTD and as a result face significant challenges with addiction.
