Yvette Kojic is a self-described ‘Jill-of-all-trades.’ After spending 11+ years in New York City working in the Broadway community and collaborating with some of Broadway’s brightest stars as a director, creative writer, producer, educator, program director, and more, she has returned to her hometown in the Tampa Bay area of Florida and is eager to make a positive impact in the community.
Yvette has a passion for producing and developing programming. She created hundreds of workshop experiences for students of all ages from around the world at Broadway Workshop. She also created and directed the Mosaic Training Program with Tony Award Winner Karen Olivo (KO); a workshop series for high school students who identify as POC to participate in at no cost to them. Additionally, she partnered with Tony Bennett’s foundation, Exploring the Arts, to create a mentorship program with one-on-one training for underrepresented students interested in all aspects of the arts. These endeavors in the non-profit sector have largely sparked a new passion for her to continue her work in some way. While a large part of her career has been focused on education, she has also had the pleasure of working on other projects such as directing 3x Tony Nominee Robin De Jesus’ cabarets, writing, and hosting Playbill’s virtual trivia show, The Showbiz Quiz, and working with Broadway Records as an Associate Producer and Social Media Director.
Yvette is excited to bring her experience to the team at Live Tampa Bay!
