Torchbearer Award

The 2024 Senator Rouson Torchbearer Award was awarded to Tina Miller, for using the light of the torch to brighten the way for countless people in our communityย  โ€” and then using the wood of the torch to build three high schools for teens in recovery.

Tina has used her own recovery story to inspire countless others and to connect with teens in our region. We honor her for her fearlessness to take such a big leap of faith into the difficult world of nonprofit startups, and for her humility and determination to reach out to others to ask for help when it is needed. Her professional life, like her recovery life, is an inspiration that will touch generations to come.

Lifetime Achievement Award

In our delegation, Congressman Bilirakis has been leading the charge to improve access to innovative, high quality, behavioral health care.

He has helped develop our regionโ€™s first recovery community center: The All Ways Center in Pasco County, a prevention and recovery community center that provides resources and support for individuals, families, and youth. It is also home of the Hope Shot. The goal of the All Ways Center is to strengthen the community by promoting wellness, supporting recovery, and empowering young people to make healthy choices.
