Prescription Drug Abuse Task Force/General Membership Meeting

We hope you will be able to join us for our next virtual combination Prescription Drug Abuse Task Force/General Membership Meeting, which is on Wednesday, April 27th at 1:00pm.

We have two fantastic guest speakers this month.
Kimberly A Badanich, Ph.D., Incredi-Bull Critical Thinking Faculty Member, Department of Psychology, USF will present on “Alcohol and Cocaine’s Effects on Behavior and the Brain”. Dr. Badanich is a Ph.D. graduate of the University of South Florida in Behavioral Neuroscience and Post Doc in Neuroscience at Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston, where she was a Post-Doctoral Fellow from 2008 – 2012.

Doug Simon, Director of the Office of Drug Control, Office of Policy & Budget – Florida Governor’s Office of Drug Control will address the group and answer any questions. Mr. Simon was also Director of State and Local Affairs and White House Liaison at the Office of National Drug Control Policy from 2006 – 2009.
