Live Tampa Bay is hosting the 3rd Annual Law Enforcement and First Responders Summit which will be held on December 6th from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm at the St. Petersburg Marriott, 12600 Roosevelt Boulevard N, St. Petersburg, Fl 33716. The Summit theme this year is “Collaborations to Combat Crisis: Fire/Rescue, Law Enforcement and Behavioral Health Response Programs”.

This summit is designed for law enforcement and first responders by law enforcement and first responders.  Experts and session leaders handpicked by our First Responders Committee will offer valuable insights and practical strategies for combatting the opioid crisis. Ample networking time and a dedicated vendor area has been built into the day to allow for time to connect with other frontline professionals and vendors.

Letter from the CEO

This February, I’ve been thinking a lot about how loneliness, overdose, and stigma show up in real lives here in Tampa Bay, and what it would look like for all of us to respond with more compassion, not more pressure. In my letter, I share why connection and person‑first language matter so much, how Black communities are carrying a disproportionate share of this crisis, and three simple ways we can care for ourselves more kindly while helping someone else feel less alone.
