I am honored to invite you to our Live Tampa Bay’s Annual Leaders Luncheon to End Overdose. My team and I are excited for our upcoming signature luncheon — an event dedicated to networking, sharing critical insights on the overdose epidemic, celebrating recovery and coming together as leaders all dedicated to reducing the number of lives lost to the overdose crisis. So, in addition to inviting, you to this year’s luncheon on Friday, March 28, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hilton Carillon in St. Petersburg, we also wanted to invite you to dive into the luncheons of the past, get inspired by our keynote, and get a preview of the data the is leading our way forward by reading this month’s newsletter.
This gathering of leaders, advocates, and changemakers comes at a pivotal time in our fight against overdose. We are privileged to welcome our nationally renowned keynote speaker, Michael Brody Waite, who will share his powerful perspective on leadership, recovery, and resilience. Bemetra Simmons, President/CEO of the Tampa Bay Partnership and Chair of the Live Tampa Bay Board, will present regional data that provides a clear picture of how the Tampa Bay MSA compares to other metropolitan areas, highlighting our greatest challenges and most promising opportunities for impact.
A special part of this luncheon will be the presentation of the David Pizzo Lifetime Achievement Award and the Senator Rouson Torchbearer Award to two deserving regional leaders — one who leads with the pen, the other with her story. But both honorees are driving meaningful change and shaping a stronger healthier Tampa Bay region.
We invite you to be a part of this important event as we recognize those making a difference, share knowledge, and strengthen our collective efforts to save lives. Your support and leadership are vital as we work together to build a future free from overdose. We still have sponsorships available. Please register to join us or to become a sponsor by clicking here.
Please RSVP by March 25th to reserve your seat. If you have any questions, feel free to contact Sean Daniels at sd@livetampabay.org or by phone (510) 684-8071.
We look forward to seeing you on March 28 as we celebrate success and look forward with renewed dedication to tomorrow.
With gratitude,

Jennifer Webb
