Dear Community,
Healing happens when people feel safe enough to ask for help.
Throughout our work across Tampa Bay, we continue to see how stigma, isolation, and lack of access to resources can prevent individuals from seeking support when they need it most. Yet we also see the incredible impact that education, connection, and community can have on a person’s recovery journey.
This month, we recognize several important awareness initiatives that highlight the many factors that influence wellbeing. Pride Month reminds us that everyone deserves access to affirming care and supportive environments. PTSD Awareness Month highlights the lasting effects trauma can have on individuals, families, and communities. Men’s Health Month encourages important conversations about mental health, prevention, and the value of seeking help early.
While these observances focus on different populations and experiences, they share a common message: people thrive when they feel supported, respected, and connected to resources.
At Live Tampa Bay, we remain committed to bringing people together through education, collaboration, and advocacy. Whether through our webinars, community initiatives, workplace partnerships, or faith-based engagement, our goal is to create pathways to healing and recovery for all.
Thank you for being part of this work and for helping build a stronger, healthier Tampa Bay.
Yours in service,
Jennifer Webb
