As we close the chapter on 2025, I reflect with deep gratitude on the progress we have made together and the collective impact of our shared commitment to a healthier, safer, and more compassionate Tampa Bay. This year has been defined by collaboration, innovation, and a strong belief that systems of care are most effective when communities work together with purpose.
One of the most meaningful milestones of this year was the successful conclusion of our Behavioral Health & Public Safety Summit, now in its fourth year. The Summit brought together leaders from behavioral health, public safety, healthcare, government, and community organizations to engage in thoughtful dialogue and solution-focused collaboration. It served as a clear reminder of how far our region has come in recognizing the connection between behavioral health and public safety, and the importance of addressing these challenges through coordinated, compassionate, and informed approaches. The strong participation of 95 agencies and organizations from 17 participating counties and outcomes of this year’s Summit reaffirmed our shared commitment to continued progress.
Throughout 2025, we have witnessed powerful examples of how strategic investments, informed practices, and people-centered approaches can change lives. The stories we share of recovery, resilience, and renewed hope highlight the importance of meeting individuals where they are and responding with empathy and skill. These stories reflect a growing ecosystem of care that prioritizes dignity, connection, and long-term wellbeing.
As an organization, we have continued to grow in both reach and impact. From expanding partnerships to strengthening data-informed decision-making, this year reinforced the value of alignment across sectors and the importance of listening to the voices of those most affected. None of this progress would be possible without the dedication of our partners, supporters, and community members who continue to invest their time, expertise, and trust.
Thank you for being part of this work and for helping to shape a future where recovery, safety, and opportunity are within reach for all.
Yours in service,
Jennifer Webb
